Delete your account.
You can start deletion inside Kodu without contacting support.
- Export any records and originals you want to keep.
- Open Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm. A linked account may require a recent sign-in.
- Keep the app online. If interrupted, reopen it and finish deletion. Do not assume cloud deletion has completed before the app confirms it.
What happens
Owner: the family workspace and shared records are removed. Caregivers lose access when their devices check it; an offline copy may temporarily remain. Ownership is not transferred.
Caregiver: your account and personal data are removed; shared family records remain with their owner, including relevant authorship history.
Personal workspace: local app records and archives are cleared, and the associated technical or linked account is deleted where present.
Private cloud-file cleanup is asynchronous and may require retries. Exported files, copies you sent to others and payment-provider records are not erased by this action. See the Privacy Policy for provider retention.
Cancel a subscription separately
Account deletion does not cancel Apple billing. Manage Apple subscriptions. Cancellation is not a condition of deleting your account.
